Free Web-based Electronic Resources

Urbana High School students have access to several free electronic resources for use at school and at home. These resources are available through funding that Infohio (the school library network) received from the legislature. Infohio’s web address is www.infohio.org.  We also have it linked on our Urbana City Schools website on the “What’s New Page” as Online Electronic Resources (www.urbana.k12.oh.us/new.htm.)

Encyclopedia Britannica is the newest resource. This access is only available at school, although Britannica has made their basic encyclopedia available to the general public at www.britannica.com.

Please take time to recommend these sites to your students. They are valuable resources for them to use as they work on research projects.
