Until now, adults 22 years of age or older have had no way to earn diplomas. Few options were available to them for pursuing the skills and credentials they needed to support themselves and their families.
The new Ohio Adult Diploma Program gives individuals 22 years of age or older the chance to return to school, earning not only a diploma, but also an industry credential in an in-demand area. The program has just graduated its first class of 78 individuals from around the state; they range in age from 22 to 65. If you want to be inspired, I encourage you to see these four graduates briefly telling their stories. These are just a handful of the many accounts that prove how much of an impact this program can have on a life. It’s amazing.
